Dear parents,
My name is Lorena and I'm 26. I was born in Spain, where I grew up with my two little sisters in the south-east region of Murcia.
During my teen years I looked after my sisters whilst my mum was working and I was also teaching English to a girl aged 6.
I moved to the UK to study linguistics and I had the opportunity to be an au-pair twice for a British, and for a Spanish family. During this time I looked after children with age ranges from 1 to 13, and I adapted to their rutine with ease.
I was also supporting with homeworks when they needed a helping hand, played board games and did arts and crafts. If the situation required so, I was also cooking, doing laundry or helping with tyding up and cleaning chores.
In 2016, I volunteered for a month on a highschool as a Spanish Language assistant, where I was helping improving pupils linguistic skills for their GCSE's.
Upon my graduation I decided to move to Switzerland and my most recent experiences with childcare are as an au-pair for a Swiss family and a nanny for a Spanish-Swiss family.
As a nanny, my expectations from the family are: clear communication, realistic expectations and respect.
I am a kind soul, very reliable and hardworking person with a bubbly personality. I can communicate with you and your children either in Spanish or English. I can speak, read and write German and French on a basic level, and I can understand and reply some things in Portuguese without hesitation.
